Wounded, Not Difficult

Some children are not struggling because they are bad... they are struggling because the adults around them are broken, selfish, distracted, or lost.

Some children are not difficult... They are wounded. They are carrying pain they did not create and do not deserve.

Every child needs at least one adult who cares for them, loves them, and refuses to give up on them.
